BURN/LANE

A pixel-art lane-switcher on a neon dusk highway. Three lanes. One tap. One number. No tutorials. No mid-run ads. No mercy. Just the thumb and the ceiling it hasn't found yet.

Lane 01 · The Loop

Thirty seconds
to find the zone.

Average run: 30 seconds. Average session: ten of them. The hook isn't the run — it's the one that was going to be longer.

01

Tap left

A ~100ms eased swerve. Not a teleport — the tap carries weight for a heartbeat after it lands.

02

Tap right

Read two seconds ahead, not one. The fast lane punishes reflex; it rewards pattern-reading.

03

Crash. Retry.

Sub-second from collision to the next run. No modal. No friction. Just one more kilometre.

Lane 02 · Philosophy

The rules
we refuse to break.

// Pillar 01

Radical simplicity

If a feature can be removed without breaking the core loop, it is removed. No currencies. No skins. No upgrade tree. Every run starts identical.

// Pillar 02

Feel over everything

The 100ms of a swerve is the entire game. Polish investment goes there first. Content investment never. The thumb is the experience.

// Pillar 03

Death teaches, not tutorials

Zero text during play. The player learns by dying and trying again. If an idea can't be taught without a caption, it's the wrong idea.

// Pillar 04

Chase the last run

Every system exists to make the player tap restart faster. Menus, modals, mid-run ads — the enemy. All of them.

Lane 03 · The soundtrack

Eighteen loops.
One long drive.

A hand-picked synthwave mixtape — warm Juno pads, metallic FM leads, dry sub-kick. Hit play on any track; it's the real music from the game.

Lane 04 · The kit

Everything
you need.

Nothing you don't. A list short enough to fit on one cabinet.

Pattern traffic

No cheap RNG deaths. Fairness invariant guarantees one clear lane ~2s ahead.

Linear speed-up

Speed climbs with every second. Death is certain. The question is only when.

100ms swerve

Impulse-based lane switch. Real inertia. Every tap has tactile weight.

Neon dusk palette

Eight colors. Two bands. Warm horizon above, cool asphalt below.

Sub-second reset

Collision to next run in under a second. The retry is the reward.

Personal best

On-device, on the title screen. The whole progression system.

Near-miss punch

Thread tight traffic and the game tells you. A reward for the line you held.

Remove ads · one tap

Free with interstitials between deaths. A single IAP kills them forever. Restore across devices.

Lane 05 · The manifesto

What this game isn't.

This is not that kind of game.

Burn the lane.

The highway is being paved. The sun is setting on release day. Be first to the leaderboard of one.
